Metro Optics supports numerous nonprofit organizations around the Bronx whose missions advance the eyehealth and overall health & wellness of its residents, and their enjoyment of our vibrant borough, as well as initiatives to promote a sustainable environment for local business.

Our Community Coloring Book is now in all Metro Optics locations, featuring eye and Bronx-themed contributions from local artists! Available in our waiting areas for pint-sized visitors, along with colored pencils and crayons, just in time for #BackToSchool.

Over the years, we have provided FREE Vision Screening services* to interested participants at many locales in the Bronx, from schools, to community events, church feasts, Business Improvement District events, nonprofits serving the elderly, and more.
If you’d like to submit a request to have Metro Optics provide a Vision Screening booth at your event, please email jessicau@metrooptics.com at least one month in advance of your event date, and we will contact you to make arrangements.
*Vision Screenings are not a substitute for a comprehensive yearly eye examination
